What I Eat in a Day Paleo








hello everyone my name is Tanya and I'm
an integrative health coach today I'm going to be showing you a full day of
eating a paleo so I'm super excited for this this is how I eat it that's what
works best for my body if you're watching this video because you're
feeling overwhelmed on what to eat on the Paleo diet or you just need some new
and fresh ideas then definitely give this video a like and of course don't

future videos on the Paleo diet so for breakfast today I'll be making a Mexican
egg scramble this is so good guys I love any type of like Mexican bowl creation
and honestly this is really really good so I'm just slicing up a sweet potato
I'm doing it I like peeled it doing it it the slices and then flipping it over
doing it into fries and eventually little cubes and when I am cooking them on the
stovetop I try to make the cubes as as small as possible so that it cooks a
little bit a faster so nice and fine alright now I'm gonna get the stovetop
going so I'm getting out a pan and adding some coconut oil in there that's
like my oil of choice and that's the one I use there make sure to swirl it around
and you're good to add your sweet potatoes don't forget to put the cover
as well I do feel like it really helps with the cooking process because this
steam also cooks sweet potatoes alright while the sweet potatoes are
getting a head start I'm slicing a red a bell pepper and do some slices and then
rotate that around and just chop them up in little dices also have a red onion
here and some organic cherry tomatoes now no judging on the onion cutting I
feel like everyone does it differently but hey feel free to give me a score on
a scale of one to ten I feel like I'm winning though because I haven't cut a
finger off yet also slicing some cherry tomatoes I'm
not a huge fan of cook tomato so I'm keeping it minimal but of course you
could always add more if you really like them all right then we're going to check
up on our sweet potatoes everything looks good then you can add the veggies
in there mix it all in and add some salt this is the type of salt that I
like to use it's just a brand by Costco then I add some pepper and it's from the
same brand and then oh look at that I'm gonna give it one last stir and then add
some spinach afterwards so yeah I'm adding this whole box that's the great
thing about greens it will like wilt down so you cannot eat a ton I
definitely recommend putting the lid on as well it's going to help for that I'm
struggling a little bit here to separate out the spinach once it has cooked but
don't worry I eventually figured it out everything worked out alright everything
is ready so I'm going to take most of the veggies out because I will store it
in the glass container for the rest of the week so that I don't have to chop
veggies every morning and I can just quickly like put the veggies in the pan
and crack a couple eggs like you see me doing right here and then just a
scramble it this is what happens when I'm cooking and I leave a cupboard open
especially the one what is a food in so he sneaks in and try to get some treats
usually he like Chuck's it off the shelf and hopes that it will open as it falls
but don't worry about Wes I end up giving him a treat anyways he
it's hard you know all right so we are done here it looks good but we are not
done yet I am gonna add some fresh cilantro and some Frank's hot sauce I
mean you can't really have a Mexican Bowl without some hot sauce that's the
finished product it looks awesome beautiful YUM super excited to eat this my lunch on most days is one big salad
bowl I find that if I just keep that consistent that I get a lot of
vegetables in my day so you know for dinner or something like that I don't
have a ton of veggies at least I know that I had a salad for lunch so the base is
always some greens I always have some greens in the fridge and I also like to
keep ingredients prepped in the fridge as much as possible especially when I'm
working from home like I don't have a ton a time for lunch so those are
spiralized zucchini like comes in really really handy same for the salmon I
already had it cooked I had to warm it up in the oven and then
I'm slicing up an avocado. Avocados are such a good food to add in your diet I
love them because first of all they're just nice and creamy, they taste so good
and they're super filling I'll usually have like at least half an
avocado or maybe even a full one during the day if I don't have it with
breakfast like this morning I didn't have breakfast and I'll definitely have
it for lunch and sometimes I even have it in like a side salad
with dinner. So for the dressing I keep things like a super super simple it
usually I always add salt and pepper because why not it enhances the taste
and this is my favorite oil to use as a dressing it's avocado oil it's really
nice it's nice and mild I don't mind olive oil but yeah that's
just my favorite one it's a little drizzle of that and that's it guys so
it's a super simple lunch especially if you have everything prepped in advance
then you just have to like put the bowl together and eat. Hey guys I'm just
sitting here enjoying my I just want to talk about it so I have the zucchini,
avocado, the salmon and the greens. usually I would also have a source of
carbs but since I had a lot of sweet potatoes in my breakfast I just skipped
on that so it was more of like a high protein high fat lunch which is honestly
probably the best if you're struggling with like lunch instead don't fill you
up having high protein high fat will definitely fill you up so yeah I'm gonna
continue to enjoy that and I just want to let you know what my bowls usually
look like is usually I will have some sweet potatoes in there.

Alright, let's
get Dinner started so I'm you start off by preparing the chicken really simple. I'm going to add the chicken breast in a dish and put some salt and pepper on
there add some foil on there I find that if I
add the foil on top it just kind of keeps this you can press a little bit
moist because the chicken breast can get a little dry and while that's cooking I'm gonna get the
vegetables ready so we got some broccoli, carrots, snow peas, white onion, and garlic
I chopped all of that up and then it's time to add it to the pan so I'm using
some avocado oil as the oil and I added the onions, the garlic sauted that for a bit
and then eventually added these snow peas carrots and broccoli in there as
well and then making sure to mix it all up really well. So once your chickens
ready you can slice it up or shred it whatever it works for you but then yeah
you just add it into the pan with the vegetables and mix it up again all right this is the MVP of this recipe
so this yellow Thai coconut curry by Yai's Thai it is such a great product to have
around the house I freaking love it and it just makes it easy for you to whip up
a quick curry. Those are the ingredients and it is Paleo approved. Hi
guys so I am going to enjoy this and that's probably gonna be the last meal
of the day for me only because I'm not super hungry today and I know this is
gonna fill me up on most days though I will have a snack and I pretty much always

3 INGREDIENT SNACKS: healthy paleo snacks












if you're stuck on ideas for healthy
paleo snacks watch this video because I am sharing with you three ingredients
max that you are going to love and if you're new welcome to my channel keep up
with live the place where we make delicious Paleo recipes and how these
foods can benefit your health so let's go ahead and jump right into it so the
first snack we are making are plantain chips this is definitely one of my
favorite three ingredient snacks I've made you can definitely change up the
seasonings and lately I'm going to show you the one that I've been using
plantains are great because they are rich in vitamin A and vitamin A really
supports healthy eyes and a healthy immune system they're also loaded with
fiber and fiber is what feeds our healthy good gut bacteria and our gut
health is definitely connected to so many different things like mental health
your overall health and well-being in general so keeping our gut health in
check is super important and it's also really high in potassium and we need
potassium for a healthy heart so all I do is I peel the plantain and then I
slice it nice and thin you definitely don't want to slice it too thick because
then they won't get nice and crunchy like chips there'll be a bit softer so I
go ahead and slice the whole thing up and then we are going to be laying it
onto a silicon mat you can also use parchment paper or if you don't have
either of the two just make sure that you do grease the bottom of the baking
sheet because we don't want them to stick so then I'm just laying them out
in a single layer and I found plantains right next to the bananas in my grocery
store in case you're wondering they're green so they're never gonna be yellow
they might look like an unripe in banana but I would just look at the sign to
make sure you're not actually just grabbing a green banana so I spray it
with a little bit of avocado oil I find that this way it really coats each of
them evenly versus having to drizzle on an oil you get a nice fine layer and
then I'm sprinkling it with a bit of paprika
I had plantain chips with paprika at a restaurant and it gave it such a nice
wonderful flavor so I've been putting that on but you can definitely just do
sea salt you could do garlic kind of whatever you want you bake them off for
about 12 minutes at 350 and you have wonderful crunch
plantain chips the next thing we're making is a very simple blueberry
smoothie blueberries are phenomenal there are great superfood loaded with
anthocyanins that's what makes it purple and then what the anthocyanins do is
that helps to increase cognition promotes longevity and it's also a low
sugar fruit which is really great I'm adding in some almond butter which is a
great healthy fat loaded with vitamin E and helps to make this smoothie more
satiating so healthy fats really help to make you feel satisfied all you do is
blend that up with a bit of almond milk or cashew milk and you have a super
simple blueberry smoothie great for your brain it's slightly sweet because of the
blueberries and good for your brain two men we are making caramelized pecans
this is a really great kind of a little bit of a sweeter snack or you can even
add this to salads and other things like that
so I'm combining some pecans some coconut oil and some coconut sugar in a
pan until the sugar and the coconut oil melts together and coats the pecans
pecans are great because they're loaded with vitamin E they're a healthy fat
they also have B vitamins and B vitamins helped to give us energy but it's also
necessary for a lot of different processes that go on in our body so it's
what's called a cofactor so we need all of those B vitamins and we need that
energy it's also a great anti-inflammatory as well so once your
nuts are all coated you just let them cool until the glaze has hardened and
you have these wonderfully slightly sweet pecans that you can eat on their
own or even add to salads the next combo I have been loving is this pomegranate
avocado combo now you guys know how much of a fan I am of avocado and that's
because it is loaded with healthy fats healthy fats are super great for you
super great for your brain for your gut health for so many things and avocado is
honestly such an easy way to get a good snack in it's also lower in
carbohydrates too so if you are doing keto this month or anything like that
this would be great for you and a little known fact that avocado is actually a
fruit I feel like a lot of people don't know that so I'm sprinkling it with a
little bit of sea salt and then I'm gonna be adding in some pomegranate
seeds these ones were frozen but if you can find a fresh at your grocery store I
would do that pomegranate seeds are great because they're load
with vitamin C which helps to promote collagen for healthy skin healthy gut
it's also good for your immune system and they're loaded with fibers and this
is a super simple like ten-second snack that you can make that tastes so yummy
then we are making kind of a quick / instant smoothie Bowl so this is kind of
like when you don't have a lot of time or ingredients all I do is I combine a
scoop of my favorite protein I tend to use a chocolate one I find those have a
lot more flavor in a basic recipe like this rather than a vanilla so I love
doing a chocolate one I add a bit of almond milk and then you kind of stir it
together and you kind of get a pudding consistency so you can add as little or
as much almond milk as you like but I just add less than a shake and more so
it's a bit thicker and then all you have to do is throw on a little bit of crunch
so you get that really satisfying texture so I'm using some grain free
granola but you can use cacao nibs coconut chips any kind of nuts but the
great thing about this is you get protein you get healthy fats you get
that satisfying a crunch and it's really quick and easy to make you don't have to
spend time making a big smoothie Bowl so now you have some delicious healthy
paleo snack ideas that you can make that are only three ingredients if you're

PALEO KETO day of eating with MY FAMILY!












what's going on guys Logan's knee here at Logan's knee comment today I want to show you a keto family day of eating what the heck does my family eating today well I say keto but it may not be keto I am just gonna go in the grocery Strummer to buy a bunch of food my mom said hey here's my credit card just go buy a bunch of food and if you can cook us a meal that would be amazing I said hey what the heck sure no problem love you all amazing stuff so I'm gonna cook the family some delicious food I'm some he's calling me by the way do you guys ever drive the topo Chico and people thinking you're drinking and driving let's get after it guys I'm ready for an epic Dave eating with y'all so let's get started twelve seconds late go relax Logan go can take some time just relax I don't really do that cuz this is relaxing here anyways guys I'm trying to talk a little bit down make it more like you know chill but I don't know we're gonna get some delicious food I think I want to make some keto desserts tonight it's gonna be a great one so let's go do it no I said that my family is like unhealthy it's just they have a lot stuff going on right and I do too but that doesn't mean we can't cook so I'm just trying to teach them like hey you know I have a ton of time doesn't mean we can't eat healthy doesn't mean we can't cook some things so I'm just going to show them the way on this family is steak lovers 12 bucks not bad at all all right look at this we're changing some things up here look at this this is protein Greek yogurt two carbs the ingredients are amazing so there's literally nothing in there but straight Greek yogurt so we're doing plane to keep it simple excuse me sir we see the guy on the camera there he's the guy we need to kick out of this place as soon as possible find him find him no God no God please no no they haven't found me yet we got to go okay this is kind of weird I I did not put these in here at all I got my car detailed I did not put those there I did not I didn't buy those so I guess freezy be us thank you see you they finally did it I'm kidding I don't know to LA - okay so here we are I'm cooking up a meal for the family in for me and yeah this kind of is right here this refrigerator is seeing a detox apparently but let me show you what I'm cooking for my family it's gonna be like half keto I'll explain it and I'll show it to you guys but I'm gonna whip this up and I'll show I'll show you right now so this right here this is the kielbasa sausage they're here in Texas actually and this is the ground beef with it as well look them up guys absolutely amazing so we're gonna whip all this up it's like a big omelet and it's gonna have the other vegetables in there so we're not cooking this tonight my head you have it back I want to show to the word the bad one you would be bad is not magnifico you baby chicken you yeah I wanna to the word things about you was being that the next day good morning we're taking Charlie to the groomer so I had this company they contact me said hey do you have a puppy I'm like yeah I do they're like oh my gosh well let's well we're gonna send you the you're gonna get the food yeah so it so it's Quito dog food that they're gonna send they're gonna give this charlie don't worry dude I know I know I know it's it's coming in the mail don't worry all right let's get about whoo okay it's a pretty upbeat morning where are trekking along a lot of cars everyone that one's going crazy today I love it so only you guys a quote I haven't done this in a while right time always flies but the one thing is you're always the pilot right so you're always the pilot of your own time so you can always control it right but you definitely can't stop it so that's the thing it's like you know you're the pilot of your time are you investing it are you wasting it and what are you doing every single day to progress towards your goals your dreams right my dream is to be financially free which I am and I want to even achieve more dreams change more lives make more money right so I'm working every single day to achieve that if that's you you have to understand is your time wasted or invested to get one what I did is what differentiated my brand from the others is that you know I studied I studied the competition right like I didn't go and try and like you know get upset about the competition I studied them I learned from them and so I found I was like okay I bought somebody's program and in reality it was literally just a bland old PDF file that I could have made myself and I'm like you know what this is not worth my time and honestly I feel like I'm trying to coach myself rather than him coaching me so whatever what I was able to do is I was able to reset in a whole different way that made it super easy for me because I always have I always viewed it like this oh this this we work is super cool my friend Eli has his office here he's actually not here he took a break but I'm gonna show you a pretty sweet amazing view of this and then we're gonna go get some electrolytes I absolutely love electrolyte powders I don't know why they just taste amazing so we're gonna go get some how was your day at school pretty good got a good haircut what right now we're cooking for my brother yet again I'm gonna make him a breakfast sandwich with some sausage egg and cheese so we're using the Fox Hill kitchen bagels we're gonna add some berries on the side some eggs some sausage and some cheese let's give a delicious breakfast let's go so what is it what does a lunch look like for y'all at school it's we have corn dogs french fries french fries doesn't meal as a meal oh my gosh we just faster you have a snack snack yeah that is really disgusting and sad but anyways that's his meal that looks delicious right charlie oh yeah he just tweaked his head we got a package in the mail I really have no idea what this is yes finally alright let me show you what this is real quick so here's what we got so we have the the keyboard here and you see how this is elevated right my neck a lot of the times my neck is going like this and it hurts okay it hurts it brings inflammation stress tension all those sort of things now I'm gonna be going like this I'm looking forward and I have the keyboard right there so that's amazing it's gonna help so much I highly recommend you guys look them up on Amazon just like a BLAP top stand and you'll find different options this was literally only ten bucks okay ten dollars and I think this was like 15 right here so don't say it's too pricey guys it is simple and it is effective well let me summarize something up today sucked okay so let me tell you what happened my laptop basically broke but it is now fixed though whoo that wasted a lot of times secondly I locked my keys in the car again thirdly I spilled the coffee okay but here's the thing that they suck but that means that doesn't mean it's gonna control me and I'm gonna make it a great day right so I can't control everything but I can control how I react to it so if your day is not the best day whether it was today at the time you're watching this or the day coming up whatever that is go out you control you you can't control everything but you can control how you react to everything so to summarize it up guys I'm putting my family more on like a paleo style diet my brother I don't think he should probably do keto right away my dad he is about 90% keto and my mom is very flexible but she doesn't eat a lot of food and so I'm trying to get her onto more paleo style my brother he just don't really care he just he's just really whatever's put in front of him so that kind of makes it easy but anyways that is what they're doing is more of a paleo approach so
