hi this is dr. Emil Tompkins and I know that you're trying to understand what are certain ways that that you can eat that are sustainable and will allow you to actually achieve your health goals and today we're going to talk about the Paleo diet here are the keys to the Paleo diet number one eat all the lean meats fish seafood that you want that lean meat is going to provide all the protein that you need to build lean muscle and help you to burn fat try to eat all the fruits and non starchy vegetables that you can eat that provides healthy carbohydrates for energy you'll want to avoid all cereals legumes beans dairy and anything at all that's processed these things are items that are very nutrient poor they're not nutrient dense at all so you can have a lot of food in a lot of calories and get very few nutrients so your body over time will crave more and more even though you're not getting any good nutrition from it at all a Dutch study on the Paleo diet notice that in two weeks of starting paleo people began to lose weight lower cholesterol lower blood pressure lower triglycerides and some of the signs of type 2 diabetes already started to disappear if you want to make changes in your health in your diet and actually notice changes in your health right away seriously consider starting paleo part of the reason why we're seeing so many benefits from the Paleo diet is that we're eating less sugar so our body before was trained to to burn sugar we burn carbohydrates and when you burn lots and lots of sugar which we were told was okay and was healthy and normal we tend to store fat but if you're actually eating a lot less sugar and eating more protein and fat then you will teach your body to burn fat you'd much rather burn the fat then store the fat and that's what happens when you're eating the Paleo diet or others that are higher in protein and fat and lower in simple carbohydrates so if you want to see how the Paleo diet can make a change in your health today consider our 7 day paleo challenge where in seven days you'll start making some slight changes in your diet and how you're eating but over that period you will start to see some changes in your health so click the link below and join our 7 day paleo challenge and let's start seeing your health change .
