hey it's Andrea from when we calm I'm so glad you're joining me today because we are going to talk about great tips on how to maintain a paleo weight loss meal plan we all know that the Paleo diet is simple easy to follow and really helps you shed those pounds but before you start a paleo weight loss meal plan you may want to know how to do it correctly being a nutritionist there is nothing I like more than helping my clients perfect a great diet just for them so along with my team at well me calm we've put together some tips to help you out make sure you stick with me till the end because we have some great advice for you you don't want to miss it if you're currently doing a paleo weight loss meal plan or you plan on starting one soon you really want to watch this video till the end the key about being successful on any diet is being consistent and sticking with it and this video will give you great tips and how to do that you want to do this for a long time maybe even a lifetime because you want to maintain the body that you really want so work your way to get there maintain it with these awesome tips my first tip for maintaining a paleo weight loss meal plan is to stock up on paleo friendly snacks if you're like me and you have kids and a family and a job you run around constantly all day so there may be times where you don't have time to prepare yourself a meal so you want to make sure you always have paleo friendly snacks in your pantry and in your fridge fruits vegetables nuts nut butters they're all delicious and filling and a little trick about the fruits and vegetables is that if you wash them and chop them and put them in Tupperware cut up and ready to go you are more likely to snack on them so when you get home from the grocery store make sure before you put your fruits and vegetables in the fridge you wash you cut you prep maybe you even put them in baggies ready to go so that all you have to do is grab and get out the door tip number two use seasonings wisely so you're gonna be cooking some new meal throw in some seasonings that you've never experimented with before you don't want to get bored with the same flavors and everything so start researching you know different ways to prepare your steak or your eggs or your chicken or any of your meats and vegetables and add the seasonings that you've never tried that way you don't get bored tip number three practice good portion control when you overeat on any diet it's detrimental whether you're eating clean eating paleo eating keto whatever diet you're on if you overeat in any of those diets it's going to be a slippery slope downhill so make sure you practice good portion control an easy way to check your portion sizes is to make a palm and make a fist and the size of your fist should be the size of the protein that you're eating with each meal and then what you can fit in the palm of your hand is all of your carbs and so if you're doing paleo that would be fruits and vegetables and starches if you're doing potato tip number four maintain a healthy lifestyle as a woman every pound of muscle I gained I will burn 70 more calories a day and as a man you would burn 100 more calories a day so for every pound of muscle we gain we get to eat a little bit more and not gain any weight and then if you're doing paleo for weight loss you would have that calorie deficit much easier the more muscle you have so make sure you're exercising and lifting weights and being active that way you help your body burn through those calories and tip number five keep a food diary even I eat really clean all the time but when I keep a food diary it really keeps me accountable and it shows me I may not be doing as great as I thought I was so if you log every single thing that you eat throughout the day you may find that sometimes you don't need as great as you thought you were and it's time to clean it up even more as promised I'm gonna give you some ideas for great paleo snacks especially if you have a sweet tooth because I do so try some almond butter and chocolate bars and it's kind of like you're having a Twix or a Snickers you can try an apple pecan crisp if you have an inkling for apple pie or it feels like Thanksgiving cookie dough bites one of my favorites and coconut macaroons and most of these recipes only have 3 to 4 ingredients and they're really quick to make with my tips on a paleo weight loss meal plan you are now fully prepared to tackle that Paleo diet hard if you have any questions or need advice just comment below and I'll get back to you there's also loads of Paleo advice and recipes over at well mcoms so make sure you check that out and we'll link below in the description thanks for watching and don't forget to hit subscribe alright get out there get at that diet and be healthy .

Ready to get into great shape and stay healthy? It could be easier than you first imagine! The Paleo weight loss meal plan is the latest trend in health and wellness. Allowing you to eat delicious and natural foods while losing weight, it’s plain to see why the diet is a hit.

Needless to say, embarking on any new weight loss plan is a journey in itself. When you’re following the Paleo weight loss meal plan, there are many different guidelines and rules that you have to follow along the way. That means that it’s time to do some research.

Put simply, the Paleo weight loss meal plan means that you can only eat food that would have been available in the Paleolithic era. When following the diet, you will be consuming mainly meat, fish, shellfish, fruits, vegetables, eggs, nuts, and seeds. However, at the same time, you should restrict yourself from eating grains, legumes, cereals, dairy, processed foods, refined sugars, and even added salts.

Adapting your day-to-day life and what you eat can be somewhat tough. Of course, if you are used to eating a standard diet, you may find that sticking to these strict rules is quite difficult. It means entirely revamping the way in which you cook.

But the payoff is huge, which is why it’s worth the effort of making small lifestyle changes to incorporate the Paleo weight loss meal plan into your routine. With that in mind, it’s worth looking at some of the best advice and tips out there from experts in the field.

Luckily, you’ve come to the right place. Within this video, we’ve got all the expert tips you could possibly need. Once you’ve checked out these expert-backed tips, you should find that following the Paleo weight loss meal plan is more straightforward than ever!

Coconut Shrimp with Pineapple Fried 'Rice' | Paleo Dinner Ideas

hey y'all welcome back to my channel if you're new here my name is Kayla and in today's video I'm gonna be sharing my coconut shrimp with pineapple fried rice and I say rice in quotations like that because I will be using cauliflower rice instead of regular rice so if you're looking for a low-carb dinner options or maybe you're on a ketogenic diet this recipe is for you let's get started we're gonna start by prepping our shrimp first I have some beaten eggs with a little bit of sea salt and pepper and a bowl of shredded coconut all you need to do is simply dip each shrimp into the eggs first then coat them with the shredded coconut now I'm just gonna heat some coconut oil and a skillet over medium heat and we're gonna cook the shrimp on each side until they're fully cooked through and golden in color and by the way how good do these shrimp look I mean seriously I could eat them every single week alright once the shrimp are done go ahead and set them aside and we're gonna make the cauliflower rice let's start by adding some sriracha sauce or chili paste to a small bowl then I'm gonna add some liquid aminos which are gluten free by the way and let's give that a good mix set that aside and now let's sear the pineapple slices by cooking them in a little bit of coconut oil until they are slightly golden go ahead and set the pineapple slices aside as well and now we're gonna saute some chopped carrots and bell pepper and just continue to cook them until they're slightly soft then we're gonna add some minced garlic some chopped green onion and of course the cauliflower rice now personally I like to buy the already rice - cauliflower packets from Costco it's just so much easier but you can also rice your own cauliflower using a food processor alright let's give that a good mix and we're gonna cook this until the cauliflower rice is soft and as far as the texture goes it's really based on preference I like my cauliflower rice to be just soft enough to work - no longer crunchy but not too too soft to where it's super mushy okay next we're gonna add some beaten eggs then mix that until it's fully incorporated into the mixture this is going to take the texture to the next level then let's add the liquid aminos mixture and give that a good mix and lastly let's go ahead and add the seared pineapples feel free to let this cook through a few more minutes just to make sure that everything is heated through and it's time to serve so I'm gonna add the pineapple fried rice to a bowl and then I'm gonna top it off with the coconut shrimp and that is it this is one of my absolute favorite paleo recipes well that is it for today's video if you enjoyed it be sure to give this video a thumbs up if you give this recipe a try comment below and let me know what you think about it and of course if you haven't subscribed to my channel yet hit that subscribe button below for more healthy recipes and content and until then I'll see you all in the next video bye .

Video Description:

Everyone loves shrimp.
This recipe is a part of the "Do You Talk Thai?" series and, while it has a decent list of ingredients, once they are prepped out, the meal is ready in 10 minutes or less. It was inspired by the cooking class that we did on my recent Thai Culinary Adventure as we made a dish similar to this. They call it "Tom Yum Goong", but Thai Shrimp Soup works just as well. Give this one a try and prove to your friends and yourself that "You Talk Thai..."

The Paleo Diet Explained

the countdown begins with the seven things people get wrong about the Paleo diet now all the diets out there of all of them the Paleo diet is the number one Google diet around the world for two years in a row and countless people are changed in their bodies that's why they're searching for it for example I'll just throw a couple up here there you just pull these off the web you have changes from from this to this we've got tons more folks bragging about how they've changed their bodies from using this diet in fact there's so many I can go on and on and on and on but I'm not going to because despite all the googling out there there's still a lot of misinformation about this diet for example that I did you have to eat hunks of meat to be on it I'm gonna clear that up today I want to clear up the misconception so you can make the Paleo diet work for you and get those results I just showed you so here's that the record straight are the Paleo gurus and co-authors of the whole thirty Dallas and Melissa Hartwig amazing results that folks for posting but there's still a ton of misperceptions about this Paleo diet why didn't that sell well there's no one person or one organization that sort of defines what paleo is so there's a lot of different sort of interpretations of that but the other thing is that there's also a large degree of variability person-to-person so different diets work better for different people even within a paleo framework so those are who was a diet for so a lot of doctors use the Paleo style diet to treat things like type-2 diabetes high blood pressure and high cholesterol but you don't have to be sick to benefit if you just want more energy better sleep fewer cravings or weight loss a Paleo diet is for you so we're gonna start off with the biggest misconception I just mentioned it a second earlier about these hunks of meat because you don't actually have to have excessive amounts of meat on this diet and if I'm gonna show you in this table go ahead you can walk ahead of me there are lots of things that we put up here that all are part of the Paleo diet so walk people through what you typically would do when you guys are using when you're eating paleo this is how we recommend putting a plate together it's not just meat meat meat I recommend about a palm-sized serving of protein so you can do this wild-caught salmon or postured eggs or this grass-fed beef and then you're really filling the rest of your plate with vegetables so you can do some starchy vegetables like butternut squash or a baked potato and then with some of the kind of leafy greens and more nutrient-dense vegetables and add some fruit if you want either to the meal or as a side so we've got some peaches here some apples and then finally you're gonna add some healthy fats so roughly I get this right half your plate is vegetables half your plate with vegetables yeah and it's a good mix of starchy stuff and some of the more nutrient-dense stuff you know how much of the fat you put in there so for things like avocado you can do between a quarter and a half of an avocado or you could do a closed handful of nuts and seeds or about a tablespoon or two of oil like avocado oil extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil for your cooking all right so big myth you have to only meet people throw that criticism at the diet all the time we disprove that there's two things that people also get wrong about the Paleo diet one of them is that calcium is a big issue and they're always searching how to make your house even a paleo died what do you think about that Dallas well good thing the thing with calcium is that we tend to fixate on how much we take in how much we actually get into our die and that's not really the whole story so really in the context of a paleo diet that doesn't have additional inflammatory load your body is better actually storing the calcium in your bones where do you actually take in and you can get some of that from dark leafy greens and things like that what about the crews is about to hear about lack of fiber yeah so actually this is a great source of fiber right here all the different vegetables you're gonna you're gonna eat and fruit and both solid lines all the fiber is really rich and plentiful when you're feeling half your plate with vegetables and fruit so I feel like there's a lot of rules for this diet if I'm not going all in is there any point in me trying it you don't have to do it all in there's not an all-or-nothing you know you don't get any benefit if you don't do it all in so really what we say is ideally you jump in with both feet do an introductory program like the whole 30 and then go on from there and figure out how to make it work for your long-term in a very sustainable and balanced way what about people who think they have to become shut-ins to go on the Paleo diet come on back I bought the menus here just thrown up there Melissa yeah you were to walk into this restaurant what was your order so we don't want you to become like a paleo hermit afraid to go out but I know right the first thing I would do is I would look at protein options and I would choose a healthy protein so the chicken the skirt steak the grilled salmon all look like really great options you're gonna want to take a look at your side dishes make sure that the potatoes for example aren't swimming in cream and then if you want to add a salad just take a look and make sure that you're not eating any sort of non paleo foods like the goat cheese and the California bistro yeah so if when I see that what do I do you would just say I don't the salad with no goat cheese it's really quite that simple if you don't make a big deal out of it the waiter and the people at your table aren't gonna make a big deal out of it all right number five what's the question come on up here the question you get asked the most I'm curious cuz you guys are filling these all the time sure I think the question we get asked the most is how do I make this work with a busy schedule and a family so what we say is they don't we just really requires some planning and preparation and get the whole family involved so involve the kids in meal planning all right we go to Libya for our number six question where's Libya put your hand up Libya let me see there you are now you've been on the Paleo diet I understand for three years yes right all right how's it worked for you it works out well I plan my meals on Sunday and make up for the whole week I always have go-to food like almonds a slice of apples so almond butter I take a whole jar of almond butter with me in the car whenever I need a real fanatic yeah yeah whenever I need something I just go right to it so planning for the whole week I'm making he makes me stay right up right on track and then the morning I get up I just packed my meal for the day and then I don't come back too late and that said to me so there's another question comes out of experiences like yours it's number six on our countdown it has to do with how much of some of the things you can eat take a look when on the Paleo diet you should only eat one serving of fat and every meal a serving of nuts the size of a small fist a portion of nut butter no larger than a ping-pong ball a helping of avocado the size of an egg and if you want coconut oil no more than half a shot glass and finally number seven on the countdown comes from Twitter Cornelia posted this she says paleo is no carbs there's no way for me hashtag paleo problems so what do you think about that Dallas yeah really become stampers people will confuse carbohydrate as a factual food constituent with grain tour products so they talk about bread and pasta like no carbs but really you're gonna get some carbohydrate from the fruits and vegetables you're eating yours not eating the lower nutrient sources like bread and pasta you should subscribe to my channel so you don't miss anything remember to check back often to see what's new .
