Paleo Banana Bread | Paleo on the go












so what we're going to use for our banana bread today is pretty simple recipe is for bananas 1 2 3 4 this one is a little bit less ripe than we would normally use but we just want to make it and we've got a teaspoon a heaping teaspoon of baking soda this is a one-third cup of coconut oil melted quarter teaspoon of salt and it was a teaspoon of vanilla extract there's a high quality camera not doing anything that's he's teaspoon and a half of cinnamon half a teaspoon of nutmeg half a cup of coconut flour 4 eggs what else anything else that's it you'll also need like a spoon because we're going to put the banana bread a little cook piece single-serving guys so it's not real scientific basically just going to throw everything in all at the same time look at this candy one-handed eggs okay just going to add everything all at the same time and mix it all together to make the batter there's probably a better way to make banana bread but um I don't know it I'm sure somebody who is out there who might be watching I'm sorry if this offends you my cooking style but the point is just to show some easy stuff that we can make just toss that in using overripe bananas because they're a little bit more sugary I guess and that's what you get your sweetness in the bread from we don't add any sugar to this recipe and you can see in here like I wouldn't really eat that banana normally like not in the morning when I wake up have a quick banana I wouldn't eat one that's that that right so we've added all the ingredients to the mixer and we're running it and bear in mind if you're watching this you don't have to have some fancy shmancy stand mixer we bought this thing years ago probably we shouldn't have because we don't use it all that often but we use it to make this and you know basically I just let this thing go until it's all whipped up you know like I said there's probably a better way to make this food but this usually tastes good and maybe consistency is off or something but I wouldn't know I'm not a chef so anyway you can see it's sort of starting to become a batter there I've actually forgotten to do this before but uh you know then I the last step is I just drizzle in the oil it's not too hot because I've been letting it cool it's not going to cook the egg but you know I just let it go in and then I let it whip up a little bit more and once it's done me add it to our cupcake you can tell these videos are going to be very very technical I guess that's part of what we're trying to help everybody with though is you know you don't have to be some sort of like trained person to make good food and to make stuff for your family they're going to like and it's going to be healthy it's pretty simple to just throw a few things together have yummy food that you don't feel guilty about eating like you know I'm gluten intolerant really messes with my insides just sort of why we started to go down this path of like there it's probably a little less clear you know paleo ish food and I would always start to crave something sweet and I get like a gluten free cookie or something was like man I shouldn't eaten it but these things you know you're eating bananas and coconut flour and it's delicious probably better than those little cookies that you find at the store so you can do things like this this whole recipe doesn't I mean you get a whole batch of banana bread cupcakes out of this for you know three four bucks so it's a much better deal set up three or four dollars for 103 cookie you got a whole batch of an ant bread that you can just laugh so anyway we really like this my daughter loves it she's always asking for Nana bread all right so we're ready to oh look at that there's already bacon in there that's perfect so we got exactly 12 muffins throw that in 350 degrees Oh gracious usually takes about 45 minutes or so what are you gonna eat in a second here is it yummy Hey look at me please hey do you like you can banana bread mm-hmm what's your favorite thing about it your name is your favorite thing cool okay so i finally got it out there not graceful we'll just sort of check it to make sure it's minute he's always like a fork than all right insist that it's finished yeah looks good all right so that's it when they're they're yummy they come out really easily when you use the silicone pads or baking things which we have had for years and but you can do it in a normal metal one anyway so enjoy I know I will I know my daughter will .

VEDA #9 Amanda's Coconut Flour Paleo Pancakes








today I'm making some paleo sugar-free grain-free pancakes I'm not going to make loads of them so if you want to make more than just double this recipe all I need is two eggs which I've got in here I'm going to have a tablespoon full and a half of coconut flour and then I'm going to find them in coconut oil first of all I'm going to whisk my eggs and told us move so now that they're smooth I'm going to add a tablespoon full and half of coconut flour and mix up in a frying pan I've added a teaspoon full of coconut oil and I'm just going to turn that on to a medium heat until it melts because the coconut flour is a really absorbed my batter we've gone quite thick because I've left it slightly too long so if this happens you could just add a dribble of I'm using almond milk to keep it paleo so now I'm going to add a tablespoon full of butter and make pancakes and now the pancakes are almost cooked on the bottom I'm gonna flip them over and cook them on the other side so flip them over and I'm just cooking at the other side this recipe made six mini pancakes and this is mine and I've got it blueberries and some maple syrup and this is Dave's and he's got it with bacon and maple syrup you .

3 INGREDIENT SNACKS: healthy paleo snacks












if you're stuck on ideas for healthy
paleo snacks watch this video because I am sharing with you three ingredients
max that you are going to love and if you're new welcome to my channel keep up
with live the place where we make delicious Paleo recipes and how these
foods can benefit your health so let's go ahead and jump right into it so the
first snack we are making are plantain chips this is definitely one of my
favorite three ingredient snacks I've made you can definitely change up the
seasonings and lately I'm going to show you the one that I've been using
plantains are great because they are rich in vitamin A and vitamin A really
supports healthy eyes and a healthy immune system they're also loaded with
fiber and fiber is what feeds our healthy good gut bacteria and our gut
health is definitely connected to so many different things like mental health
your overall health and well-being in general so keeping our gut health in
check is super important and it's also really high in potassium and we need
potassium for a healthy heart so all I do is I peel the plantain and then I
slice it nice and thin you definitely don't want to slice it too thick because
then they won't get nice and crunchy like chips there'll be a bit softer so I
go ahead and slice the whole thing up and then we are going to be laying it
onto a silicon mat you can also use parchment paper or if you don't have
either of the two just make sure that you do grease the bottom of the baking
sheet because we don't want them to stick so then I'm just laying them out
in a single layer and I found plantains right next to the bananas in my grocery
store in case you're wondering they're green so they're never gonna be yellow
they might look like an unripe in banana but I would just look at the sign to
make sure you're not actually just grabbing a green banana so I spray it
with a little bit of avocado oil I find that this way it really coats each of
them evenly versus having to drizzle on an oil you get a nice fine layer and
then I'm sprinkling it with a bit of paprika
I had plantain chips with paprika at a restaurant and it gave it such a nice
wonderful flavor so I've been putting that on but you can definitely just do
sea salt you could do garlic kind of whatever you want you bake them off for
about 12 minutes at 350 and you have wonderful crunch
plantain chips the next thing we're making is a very simple blueberry
smoothie blueberries are phenomenal there are great superfood loaded with
anthocyanins that's what makes it purple and then what the anthocyanins do is
that helps to increase cognition promotes longevity and it's also a low
sugar fruit which is really great I'm adding in some almond butter which is a
great healthy fat loaded with vitamin E and helps to make this smoothie more
satiating so healthy fats really help to make you feel satisfied all you do is
blend that up with a bit of almond milk or cashew milk and you have a super
simple blueberry smoothie great for your brain it's slightly sweet because of the
blueberries and good for your brain two men we are making caramelized pecans
this is a really great kind of a little bit of a sweeter snack or you can even
add this to salads and other things like that
so I'm combining some pecans some coconut oil and some coconut sugar in a
pan until the sugar and the coconut oil melts together and coats the pecans
pecans are great because they're loaded with vitamin E they're a healthy fat
they also have B vitamins and B vitamins helped to give us energy but it's also
necessary for a lot of different processes that go on in our body so it's
what's called a cofactor so we need all of those B vitamins and we need that
energy it's also a great anti-inflammatory as well so once your
nuts are all coated you just let them cool until the glaze has hardened and
you have these wonderfully slightly sweet pecans that you can eat on their
own or even add to salads the next combo I have been loving is this pomegranate
avocado combo now you guys know how much of a fan I am of avocado and that's
because it is loaded with healthy fats healthy fats are super great for you
super great for your brain for your gut health for so many things and avocado is
honestly such an easy way to get a good snack in it's also lower in
carbohydrates too so if you are doing keto this month or anything like that
this would be great for you and a little known fact that avocado is actually a
fruit I feel like a lot of people don't know that so I'm sprinkling it with a
little bit of sea salt and then I'm gonna be adding in some pomegranate
seeds these ones were frozen but if you can find a fresh at your grocery store I
would do that pomegranate seeds are great because they're load
with vitamin C which helps to promote collagen for healthy skin healthy gut
it's also good for your immune system and they're loaded with fibers and this
is a super simple like ten-second snack that you can make that tastes so yummy
then we are making kind of a quick / instant smoothie Bowl so this is kind of
like when you don't have a lot of time or ingredients all I do is I combine a
scoop of my favorite protein I tend to use a chocolate one I find those have a
lot more flavor in a basic recipe like this rather than a vanilla so I love
doing a chocolate one I add a bit of almond milk and then you kind of stir it
together and you kind of get a pudding consistency so you can add as little or
as much almond milk as you like but I just add less than a shake and more so
it's a bit thicker and then all you have to do is throw on a little bit of crunch
so you get that really satisfying texture so I'm using some grain free
granola but you can use cacao nibs coconut chips any kind of nuts but the
great thing about this is you get protein you get healthy fats you get
that satisfying a crunch and it's really quick and easy to make you don't have to
spend time making a big smoothie Bowl so now you have some delicious healthy
paleo snack ideas that you can make that are only three ingredients if you're

Paleo Diet versus Maximized Living Nutrition Plans












hey guys I'm dr. BJ hardik in 2009 I wrote the maximized living nutrition plans and a couple years later everybody started asking about the Paleo diet you know I want to take a moment just to differentiate a couple of the key differences between maximized living and what the world called paleo verses really what was developed by dr. Loren Cordain for whom I have so much respect who did a lot of the early research into the Paleo diet before everybody started talking about it you know dr. Cordain out of Colorado he really wanted to research and see you know what were people designed to eat before civilization before modernization of foods never mind just box foods but just even the way we started to modernize the food system and you know there's a lot of things on which we agree and I'm gonna talk specifically about meats I want to talk a little bit about sugar and I'm gonna talk about vegetables as well because a lot of people now they think that you're going paleo if you just have like meat no sugar and then no bread I'm but in fact there's so many more key differences to understand you're thinking of meats you've got to understand something you know like dr. Cordain and I would also say like salami processed meats deli meats these are not paleo just because they're meat you know dr.

Cordain would obviously emphasize the importance of having wild game fresh fish that could be caught with a spear as opposed to something that is caught from the bottom of the ocean is a whole different story something like grass-fed beef versus grain fed beef because it actually changes and distorts the essential fatty acid content in the cow but one key difference is this I think a lot of people still think that paleo can be anything that's just meat because it's a dense food and maximized living we've always advised against pork and shellfish because they can be fairly toxic animals because the nature in which they live the fact that they don't sweat and some of the I mean obviously like shellfish I mean they clean the ocean floor which is filthy to begin with so they're one of the most toxic meats that someone can possibly consume and therefore I advise against it you know dairy is also on the subject of meat as well and of course you know this very much this very much depends on the culture but if somebody's going to be consuming dairy I would say let's make sure we're consuming dairy only from healthy animals that are not sick and only from animals that have not been fed foods that they were never supposed to eat in the first place so now let's talk about sugar because certainly a lot of people think you know going sugar-free means that something is automatically paleo well the best source of sugar the best source of fructose would be fruit so in maximized living we've said hey listen on the core nutrition plan let's include the great healthy God made fruits and of course in paleo they've also said hey you know what fruits were designed to consume and this is the safest way to consume fructose what we do in North America is we pull the fructose out add it into high fructose corn syrup so now we're consuming it with no fiber no water no minerals no nutrients and of course fructose on its own starts to wreck the liver so we've always identified fruit should be had in its natural source which sorry fructose should be consumed in its natural source which is indeed fruit the core plan go for it however in maximized living we've taken it a step further we've looked at to see how people respond on a not just a no sugar diet but also eliminating the things that turn into sugar like the higher sugar fruits bananas pineapples mangoes you know what these things do convert to sugar quicker then lower sugar fruits like berries and granny smith apples and therefore we've advised them we've advised against them for people that have metabolic syndrome people that are dealing with cancer people that are dealing with cognitive disorders and all the other conditions that are listed on my site because certainly limiting the amount of sugar in the body definitely can help the body get into more of a fat burning and ketogenic state which we know is not necessarily the reason why they got the disease in the first place but can certainly be therapeutic for the body when they're dealing with that condition and this obviously it goes just goes without saying if we're gonna have a dessert let's not have that dessert with even honey or maple syrup or something that's just a gooey liquid which is still 100% sugar we want to have those things ideally made with fruit or you know what maybe stevia because it's a plant-based sweetener will not affect somebody's blood sugar and lastly just thinking vegetables it's so key that vegetable consumption is organic and you know again a lot of people think deli meats and veg is paleo well you know what's maximized naturally raised meats and organic vegetables you know pesticides I mean there's sixteen hundred different chemicals that contribute to at least over 400 different types of pesticides that are used and that are approved by the FDA and we don't even know what these do in conjunction with each other I do know this though that if somebody's having difficulty going fully organic you can look on the environmental working groups guide of the clean fifteen and the Dirty Dozen because every year they update it and they say these twelve veg types of vegetables they're sprayed with more pesticides than anything really we're talking about all produce and that's why we need to be careful if we're having something like a red pepper or an apple or a strawberry I'm these things we are loaded with pesticides which are always associated with hormonal problems because of course pesticides mimic estrogen if we're gonna have some vegetables and they're not organic at least make sure they're on the clean 15 make sure that you're having the vegetables and the fruits that have the least amount of pesticides but ideally we move to 100% organic how on earth do I eat out and still do it in a maximized healthy kind of way so I want to talk about four things I want to talk about meat vegetables I want to talk about all of your sauces and I want to talk about what to drink reigns in there so the paleo community through the maximized living community a lot of people in CrossFit they don't want grains at all to kind of know brands they don't want grains you know grains are very inflammatory they do convert this sugar even if there are you .

one of the most important things a parent could teach their kids is where their food comes from and I encourage the kids always to be in the kitchen when either me or Nicola is cooking dinner for them and tonight I'm blessed to have these kids gonna do all the hard work for me we're going to work it's not tonight this is TV tonight with so we've got indie Ally and chilli two daughters and we've got our next-door neighbor in the middle we live across the road and we're going to make some crumbed fish and we're not using any gluten products we're not using any breadcrumbs so we're going to use a little bit of tapioca flour and we've got some some eggs and black of alien apps that have been crumbled we've got a production line happening if you're watching this just knows that this is the way to do it get the kids involved they love it so I'm going to do the hot stuff over here and we're going to put some coconut oil into this pan I like to cook in the coconut oil that's heating up we're going to serve this with just some simple lettuce that's been washed and the kids like to wrap the fish up in the leaves there we go okay I'm also going to make a just a simple little guacamole for the kids to soccer ball it's Walker bowling guac where it's a Mexican avocado dish that has your favorite what are these limes what's your favorite ah and what about this what's this one no coriander correct so we're going to add some coriander some lime juice what's this we've got some salt who's going to squeeze the lime juice in there for me we're into the guacamole here you go al you can squeeze some to Chile not to be left out okay I'm going to cook the fish now that fish takes about a minute each side look at that beautiful and golden what do you think girls it looks yummy a little bit of salt on top you want some lime no lime lime actually yes I'm gonna have some lime too you can have a little bit more lime indi okay let's go three plates one oh yeah blue okay we honking do you have to work wrap it up you can do whatever you like yeah cuacamole ND what do you think girls scroll out of ten what are we gonna call these Charlie come fish are we in a Grange high five up high to the side the other side up high down low to .

Paleo Shrimp Taco Tuesday












welcome back to where kevin brady's mostly kitchen this is uh shrimp tacos and what we've learned is to record a backup so if we're not looking directly at the camera or the light looks a little weird that's because the backup had to be we had to use the backup so we made these last week they are awesome um the shrimp themselves come from wow the shrimp marinade the shrimp marinade comes from nom nom paleo which is basically i doubled the recipe so um i used their half a cup of avocado i used half cup of olive oil i used two tablespoons of dried organic or dried oregano excuse me two garlic cloves and or i doubled all this so four garlic cloves and then zest from two limes i never thought i would be zesting anything my favorite is that you leave the limes on the counter after they've been zested just hanging out like what are we gonna do with them now they just sit around on the counter for a day so uh this week i have to put the link of the recipe yes uh which actually i already sent it out because it went with the week's menu yeah but there weren't very many people that wanted it well it's on there too bad for them so a plug if you want our menu then give us your email address go to our website giving radio kim and brady's mostly paleokitchen.com sign up and you'll get them every week so i've been zesting limes i've been sweating zucchinis you've had a good week man not a good week it's been awesome for me because basically i get home from work and he's doing all the hard part what are we having what's in our tacos okay the best part about these tacos is i just buy everything sometimes we recognize we are busy people we don't i don't have time to be making all this homemade stuff all the time so guess what coleslaw which is all that's in this is cabbage and carrots i made the mistake when we say coleslaw i think some people think of like legit coleslaw and base or something it's just the veggies okay our favorite brand of guac actually to dip with chips just because it's nice to have a little side and then mango salsa you want to pull me close so you support me in the camera um you were like half off the camera pulled up the mango salsa then one day no sugar yeah sweet chili sauce bell peppers mangoes tomatoes chili peppers garlics salt it's good for a week in your fridge and the most important part is definitely the tortilla so for the tortilla like i said i told it a million times before just be sure you crisp it up a little bit in your skillet make the texture awesome and that's it we're gonna go eat eat dinner thank you peace out you .

I cooked the shrimp with the marinade in my favorite cast iron skillet, big bertha. We then lightly fried the tortillas in avocado oil, rationed out the shrimp per wolf, per tortilla, (otherwise they would have not lasted), slathered on the guac, tossed in the slaw, and added a dollop (I love that word) of salsa and BAM! Taco Tuesday was a seafood fiesta in my mouth!

Gluten Free Paleo Friendly Alfredo Sauce - For Gluten Sensitive People








Hey my fit friends welcome to another Cooking with Carrie episode. Tonight we are making some Alfredo Sauce off tonight. Not coconut milk alfredo sauce legit Alfredo Sauce I want to say hi and welcome thanks for joining me if you know anybody that would love to make some Alfredo Sauce that is really fast really healthy, share broadcast I would really appreciate. In case you don't know me, I'm Dr. Carrie Burrows, I am a former fat girl blow over 225 pounds it took me a full year lose 100 pounds.

I'm going to do a time out right there because I know a lot of people that are I like, "I need to lose this amount of weight." It took me a year to lose a hundred. A year. The long game. So if you need to lose 30, 40, 50, and then some, you have to think about those numbers. If anyone is saying, lose 40 pounds in, 20 to 30 days then that's a big time out.

So be realistic with where you are and where you want to be. There has to be some work that has to be done. You CANNOT lose that weight safely and effectively keep it off by doing radical things. OK, back on topic. I am Dr Carrie Burrows.

It took me a year to lose over a hundred pounds. I gained it back, I got pregnant I had twins, yada-yada and then I worked hard to get all off again. So that's that. I'm going to put this over. So a month or so ago we did an Alfredo Sauce where we used coconut milk. So we used coconut milk and I know a lot of people aren't keen on coconut milk so we are sans coconut milk and we're not not using any nuts so my but allergy friends you don't have to worry. This is nut free, paleo gluten-free so we are all safe.

We absolutely safe. So I made this earlier and this it. Guys this is the Alfredo Sauce. This is it. We're gonna do it live I've got it cooking.

We're going to go over it quickly But, let's just go over alfredo sauce. 1 cup and I don't have a measuring device. Oh big surprise. One cup of Alfredo sauce which isn't all that much ranges between 900 hundred and 1000 calories. Here's a cup.

This is it. That's all a cup is people and it will likely go on you're going to a restaurant, sorry Olive Garden but you're just my reference this is what will be going on your pasta. So you're looking at adding calories of sauce and junk and additives plus your pasta which comes in around 200 to 300 calories depending on what kind of pasta and how it was made. You are tipping the scales 1200, 13, 1400 calories that on the shy side. There's more that can be put in there that we just don't even know.

So we can cut that completely cut it not only lose the taste and still have that feel. I talked to a lot of people this week and I was always really quick. We get into this mindset of deprivation like, "I really need this..." and we put so much value on certain foods and they want to comfort food and I might be food that we just kind of see an ad and was talking about it and then it goes on that hamster wheel. We're like, "I just like kind of like having this and just like having this..." You know, I keep coming week after week after week to give you guys options you can't put so much value in these traditional foods. I've given you swaps and they taste great you have to get your head around it you know if you're going to a pity-party, "But I really like this...." you know what you're not willing to try the alternatives...then you are where you are because of the choices you make I have no sympathy for that at all okay if you're not going to try you have to own it where you are if you're sick if you're miserable uncomfortable you're joints hurt blood sugar is sky high has blood pressure, whatever the problem you are miserable getting dressed in the morning...that is a you problem because you're not willing to do the work This is some tough love but I'm so frustrated because you guys aren't willing to try.

I am never hungry I'm never looking for certain foods because there are options It's just about how do you think about it you know that when you quit that stinking thinking the game changes, I'm telling you the game changes because your goals are so clear. when you wake up happy when you wake up with energy you're not always looking for that next fix because you just like, "I'm going to eat this, I'm going to be full and you move on. I know...

I'm trying not to, we gotta get cooking We're going to get cooking and we're going to do this. Before we get cooking, I have to share this with you. this seasoning..it's McCormack, Canadians you can get an McCormick seasoning I know you can. Rotisserie chicken flavor no MSG no junk in it...y'all, you have to get the seasoning. I'm telling you, you have to get this seasoning.

y like rotisserie chicken exactly like rotisserie chicken it is mccormick perfect pinch no MSG. Salt onions spices, paprika garlic. Put this on your chicken you want rotisserie chicken.This is easy, we did the George Foreman grill covered, we are good to go. FLAVOR TOWN... trust me on this one.

I never lead you astray on the flavor. I'm honest it this is it, go get some of this for sure. OK, so alfredo sauce let's get into it. Let's inspire someone to get healthy how they just fired someone to get off the couch or to make a meal and see that there are options.

OK so this is what we've got going. Alfredo sauce, alfredo sauce easy We have got in my my pot I did a tablespoon, you can do butter, I like grass-fed butter or oil. Olive oil, avocado oil ,coconut oil we're going to heat that up. You're going to put in two to three cloves of crushed garlic. I needed to cook it before because you didn't want to be with me all night.

So you're going to cook that I will post the recipe as I always do but let's just go. I did a teaspoon of the oil or butter. I did 2-3 cloves of garlic, soften it you don't want to get brown because the it tastes funny. I put in a cup of water then you're gong to put in your cauliflower. So quick pro-tip, hold on a second.

I love cauliflower this is already riced. So this was two dollars if you don't have time this is what you do when you pick this up. It's frozen. It is just cauliflower. This goes in the microwave for four minutes to soften it up.

But if you don't want that you have cauliflower, just chop it up you're going to do about this much which is 10 ounces. 10 to 20 ounces. 10-12 ounces, sorry. of the cauliflower, you're going to put it in your pan your pot and let it soften until it's fork tender. that's it that's all I got in here I'm not burning myself and I'm not spilling it people tonight.

So that's all you do like that all you do that's quick butter oil garlic soften it, one cup of water I did which would be able to small head of cauliflower, chopped, riced whatever you like just the florets not the stem. Soften it until it's fork tender okay?

Good alright so we're going to this into a blender not magic bullet because it will blow the seam you need to have a traditional blender or you can do an immersion blender make sure your pot is deep enough so that you are not spraying. Ok so this is going in here. on the blender, I'm going to mix it and then season it so stand by. Depending on how you like it, I;m doing some salt, so a teaspoon but you're going to have to taste and adjust to your seasoning like.

So I've got pink Himalayan Salt I'm probably going to do a tablespoon of garlic powder, not salt alright garlic powder not salt or you will swell up like a blow fish. "Amanda Redder, where you can get the riced to cauliflower?

" Walmart. You can get this at any grocery store. Trader Joe's Wal-mart, Public for my Florida friends anywhere. 2 dollars, it is riced.

You cook it in the bag for four minutes OK, so well do a teaspoon and then we can do a little bit more. We like garlic...it has to be authentic; I'm going to do a couple cracks of pepper in here and that is it. Get this back on, we're going to give it another spin. OK, that is it. We have Alfredo Sauce.

it does not taste like cauliflower. It does not. So this is what it looks like when it is cool it is thick but here. This is what I'm talking about with alternatives. Yes you can have pasta, and know some people are going to be like, "Can I have rice pasta and can I have gluten free pasta?

" Whatever floats your boat I'm going to choose not to, I'm going to go with Zucchini.

Why Zucchini noodles?

I've got my spiralizer. Get a spiralizer, they're like 14 dollars. everywhere you can get a hand crank one and I think it's eight or seven dollars somewhere. This is a great investment. So, Zucchini...

this is one Zucchini This is about 33 calories compared to pasta which was only be this much. Pasta which would 200-300 calories. You see this?

Look. We're doing some Carrie math here... 200 to 300 calories one cup of pasta.

33 Calories for all that Zucchini. you will be so full you will not eat this you like this. So this is 33, 3-3, 33 calories. Pasta?

One cup 200 - 300 calories. Do I need to say anything else?

We clear?

Boot camp math is good?

ok so this is one zucchini, spiralized, done.

you can throw this in a little frying pan saute it you could pop it in the microwave and soften it I like it a little crunch, a little al dente a little al dente myself whatever you like. If you cook it too long in the frying pan it will get soggy. It's a quick in and out. Microwave quick in-and-out. So look at it, see it, you don't want to be translucent because they'll be too (huh) So why is zucchini great other than it is super low in calories?

It is very hydrating with potassium vitamin c vitamin D great anti-oxidant anti-inflammatory.

Because this is a volume food. like this is a lot this is a lot right here at the volume you will feel fuller quicker longer, fiber and everything that's going in here is going to help regulate your blood sugar so when you go to Olive Garden, again no shade to Olive Garden, garden when you there you eat your meal you are like, "I'm so tired" then within an hour you're hungry again because it's converted right sugar. So this is going to stay with us and keep us full. So this compared to pasts is such a better choice. Spaghetti squash again the same thing, 2 cups of spaghetti squash is about 50 calories, you can't go wrong with that.

It's very filling so helps regulate your blood sugar. Adrenal, thyroid problems this is a great food for you blood pressure hypertension things like that this is such a great nourishing thing. Affordable not expensive you get it at any grocery store. It's easy. OK I'm going pour a little biota this hot stuff on here.

I won't use all of it look, look! This is creamy, legit creamy. Can we see this?

Season it, taste it recheck it look can you see that?

So like I said I did some chicken in the George Foreman. I used my rotisserie chicken, listen when you buy your rotisserie and you use it, you need to tag me you get your chicken, you need to tag me and let me know that you love it. ok I got that I got this, we're going to town if you have questions let me know let me know if you have questions right now. in here again you could warm it up that you're not getting it makes it right about my chickens have protein.

Garlic and oil in a pan.

Let it warm up. A cup of water, I did 12 ounces cauliflower, Soften it. Cook it till it is soft, fork tender into your blender mash it up. Little salt little pepper some garlic and you're done. "How did the kids like it?

So get creative I know some of you don't like that coconut, we did the coconut chicken, that coconut alfredo chicken sauce...this is just a great ones very neutral you want other seasonings get creative with them in there you don't need that cheese, don't know the gross ingredients don't need any of it. Alright, this is simple it's pure, you're going to feel good you're going to get your energy back your eating for nourishment you're not eating to fill some emotional void alright. OK quick recap on our Alfredo I will post it but just in case, In a small saucepan I warmed up a teaspoon of oil or butter your choice coconut never close to go to the three cloves of crushed garlic let it warm up and soften. Then I added 1 cup of water it is about 12 ounces of cauliflower. I use this stuff because I don't have time to be chopping and having cauliflower all over my counter. Got it in the frozen food section easy-peasy, warm that up four minutes put into my sauce pan, kept cooking about 10-12 minutes to get the right consistency that fork tender. put it into my blender mash it up in the blender...

put in my salt pepper and some garlic powder remix it, taste adjusting. You might want something else. you might like something else, maybe you like red pepper flakes maybe you want something else, maybe you want more Italian seasoning you can go and get out that whatever you like we adjust it and that was it. Zucchini noodles, zucchini zoodles...One is about 40 calories, 33 calories all of this food, super delicious lots of fiber you can heat them up quick fry microwave to soften or eat it raw, no big deal. Easy, done.

My chicken was on the George Foreman and I used my new favorite, my ride or die, McCormack rotisserie chicken get and tag me because I want to know if you love it! OK any question?

Gluten Free Alfredo Sauce is a dream come true for a lot of people that love the taste of a great Alfredo Sauce, but can't take the dairy products that cause them problems.
Not only is this Alfredos Sauce Gluten Free, but I have also made it Paleo Friendly because this recipe is a complete hack that has nothing to do with Alfredo Sauce, except a very similar (I think better) taste and consistency.
You could use this on pasta like any Alfredo sauce, but I opted for Zucchini Noodles (Zoodles) and I also did some in Spaghetti Squash and made a really neat hash.
The Gluten Free Paleo Alfredo Sauce recipe is:
1 to 2 teaspoons of grass fed butter or oil (Avocado / Olive)
2-3 Cloves of minced garlic
12 ounces of riced cauliflower or cauliflower florets
1 Cup water
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon of salt
2 teaspoons of crushed black pepper
Directions:
Combine the butter / oil and garlic in a small or medium saucepan.
Heat over low heat for about 2 to 3 minutes to soften the garlic. Don't let brown, just soften.
Add in the cauliflower and water and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to simmer and cover. The more steam you let escape, the thicker the sauce will be.
Simmer for 10 to 121 minutes.
Pour into a high speed blender...don't use a magic or nutri bullet. You need to be able to let the heat escape.
Blend until smooth.
I made the Zoodles using a spiralizer. One zucchini is what is in the video.
Combine the sauce and the Zooodles. You can use the heat of the sauce to cook the Zoodles or sauté in a pan or microwave.
The chicken was skinless, boneless breast that I cut in half and grilled on my George Foreman grill using McCormack Rotisserie Chicken Seasoning,...it is the real deal!
That makes an awesome meal all nay itself.
I cooked a Spaghetti Squash in the microwave then added some of the sauce to it, formed it into a hash brown and put it in a frying pan on medium heat. Flip after five minutes and repeat heating for 2 more minutes to make a Spaghetti Squash Hashbrown.
The last piece was a Paleo Drop Biscuit.
Ingredients:
4 eggs
1/4 cup coconut flour
1/4 cup almond flour
1/4 cup grass fed butter
2 tablespoons tapioca starch 1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients and drop onto parchment lined cookie sheet in a 375 degree oven for 20 minutes.
Need a high speed blender? I love my Vitamix...I've had it going on 10 years now and it is an absolute workhorse. I use it pretty much daily at least once.
