Paleo spicy tomato idli recipe is an interesting and tasty. Usually I eat plain idli with chutney, sambar, etc.,

I tried this spicy idli and liked it very much. Let us see the recipe...

Ingredients:

For making idli:
200 g paneer crumbled
2 eggs beaten
1/2 cup fresh coconut ground without water
Salt

For making spicy masala:

1 Tbsp butter
1 tsp cumin seed
1 onion chopped
Chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 smal tomatoes ground to a paste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp curry masal powder
Salt

Direction:

Combine all the ingredients under “making idli”, pour it in a greased idli mould and steam it in a cooker for 10 mins.
Off the heat and keep for 5 mins to cool down, remove and keep.

Meanwhile heat butter in a pan and add cumin seeds the onion, coriander leaves and ginger garlic paste, sauté for 2 mins.
Add tomato paste and stir until the tomato incorporate with the onion mixture properly.

Add the masala powders and salt stir well.

Once the raw smell gone, flip the idli one by one into the pan gently and mix it to coat the masala well to the idli.

Transfer it to a serving plate, garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

This delicious spicy tomato idlis don't need any sides.
